1.2.7 Assurance of internal-facing8 government information systems is beyond the scope of this document. The reader is referred to the policy and guidance set out within MPS where applicable. Service providers for internal-facing systems may use this document in addition to MPS as best practice guidance. It should be noted that under these circumstances MPS takes precedence.
