16. the data sharing strategy to be developed by the Ministerial Committee MISC 31 should address impediments to sharing identity information and how these should be resolved to enable improvements in service delivery; Comments:Hmmmm. Do "impediments" include the risk of loss of trust? Shouldnt we rather insist that data sharing does not proceed unless it's based on a foundation of trust, ie maximal anonymity at all times, privacy-enhancing techs, informed consent etc. We still need to chakllenge the notion that data sharing is per se a benefit Posted by William on 2006-12-30 15:13:31.
